In the newer AC models, you can also find the auto mode option. If it detects that the room temperature is slowly rising, the AC will turn on back the breaker. In a manner, the AC will absorb less power and assist you to lower the electricity charge.

Setting a timer for Air Conditioner is just one of the best things you can do to reduce your electricity bill. Instead of keeping your AC for the whole night, you can set a timer of approximately 1-2 hours. However, in some latest AC models, there is an option to set time to turn off ac and turn it on after some specific time, how cool is that.

Clean filters:

The air filters keep the dust out of your AC by allowing it to run smoothly. They block the dirt and then let the atmosphere inside the AC to be cooled. However, these filters get clogged with dust, and it makes the AC work more challenging to get the atmosphere cool inside. It also leads to higher Air Conditioner power consumption. Instead, cleaning your Air Conditioner filters frequently is a good idea. If your air filters are old, you can buy a new one and replace it.
